I am so glad I joined WE to do the Ladakh trip. I was a bit tensed as I was down with Food poisoning. Then I had a severe attack of Vertigo 3 months back. My mom, sister and few of my close friends, even my daughter discouraged me from going to Ladakh. But, Dr. Dilip Mathen encouraged me and he gave me the confidence to proceed, and of course the whole hearted encouragement from the members of WE, who accompanied me, especially our leader DEEPA!!!! Thanks to all. Also special thanks to my YOGA trainer Mr. Saneesh (Shivananda Ashram).

You should go and experience Ladakh, Pangong, Nubra valley, the Tent camps...this is something you should not miss out. ZINDAGI NA MILEGA DO BAARA!!!! There are no words to explain the beauty of this heavenly place..And the people are so nice, concerned, peace loving and they are really beautiful & handsome with pleasing behaviour. I just cannot imagine what I would have missed out if I had not taken this positive decision to join WE for the adventurous Ladakh trip...what a LOSS it would have been!!!!! CHEERS to all the Ladies, WE & Ladakh!!!!!!!

The WE trip to Ladakh was from the 02 to 08 Sep 2011. There were 17 ladies who did this adventurous and fun filled trip to the Himalayas. Our ladies hit it off from Day 1 even though some of them did not even know each other.

We were told that our group were the first all ladies group from South India. There was nothing that WE did not try our hands at. From driving through the rocky terrain, to camping in Nubra Valley and Pangong lake, to dipping our feet in the ice cold Pangong Lake and finally to do Grade 3 River Rafting in the Indus river. It was the most memorable trip.

My message to all fellow Indians is to visit Ladakh at least once in your lifetime. It is truly GODS own land and GODS own people. The people of Ladakh are the best human beings I have met.
